IMEI Database to track the lost mobile phones in India

The Department of Telecom(DoT), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) has announced to have started making an nationwide registry of IMEI numbers of mobile phones named Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR). With this, the people can report the IMEI number of their stolen device with the DoT and it can tracked immediately and can be blocked. Besides tracking the lost mobiles, cloning of IMEI numbers can be controlled effectively. Also, the devices which are illegally unlocked can now be tracked and blocked by the Indian Government.

The CEIR has also stated that the nationally active IMEI numbers will be sorted into three groups - white, gray and black. The white list includes the numbers of devices which are being used legally. The black list includes the numbers of the devices which are reported as stolen or lost. The gray list will include the devices which do not comply by the standards but are permitted to be used "under supervision."

VIVO announced 120W Super FlashCharge which can charge 4000mAh battery in just 13 minutes

It sounds ridiculous but it's true. A video has surfaced which show a phone being charged from 10% to 14% in just 16 seconds. Here's the video:

We've aready seen Xiaomi show off it's Super Charge Turbo technology charging a 4000mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 17 minutes. But,unlike Xiaomi, Vivo hasn't demostrated charging the device until 100%. That would mean it's still in devleopment. But, it is safe to say that, this Super FlashCharge is even more faster than Xiaomi's. Still, these companies have yet to announce devices with these new technology. But, one thing is certain, gone are the days (more precisely, nights) of charging our devices overnight!
